Nigerian Singer Rema Drops Two New Solo Singles

Nigerian singer Rema has released two new solo singles, “Holiday” and “Reason You,” following the success of his hit remix of “Calm Down” featuring Selena Gomez. The release comes just before his upcoming performance at the NBA All-Star Game halftime show in Utah, where he will be joined by Burna Boy and Tems for an Afrobeats set.

“Holiday” is a fast-paced spiritual dance track with rattling shekeres and a pulsing backbeat. Produced by Blaisebeatz, who has worked on hits by Kizz Daniel and Chris Brown featuring Wizkid, Rema sings about his music’s global reach while offering a prayer for his family’s protection.

On the other hand, “Reason You” is an upbeat, contemplative track featuring distressed longing and a guitar-driven melody. Rema sings about his love for someone who appears to be taken, asking if she is available. His debut album, Rave & Roses, was released last March, featuring 16 tracks, including his original solo version of “Calm Down.”

In conclusion, Rema’s new releases showcase his versatility and musical range while maintaining his distinctive sound. Fans can expect a thrilling performance at the NBA All-Star Game halftime show, where he will undoubtedly bring his signature energy and style to the stage.
